I managed to bring the price down to 3500 and the owner has agreed to get the car checked out at a mechanic.The only possible "adjustment" is at the clutch pedal. Near the top of the arm is a horizontal rod, the nut on the rod close to the arm is the locknut. Loosen the nut and spin the shaft. Check pedal movement. Adjust as required. Yes, it should be more or less the same engine* as far as mounting it is concerned, though some details may differ. I've replaced crankshaft position sensor, it seems like camshaft sensor removal/reinstall should be similar. You'd need 10mm thin wall socket or a philips screw driver. Undo the bolt and wiggle the sensor out of the block....easier said than done a lot of the time.
