Has worked off and on for a few days and now it has been out for two days! You do this by pulling the gear shift level into low, and pulling on the plastic trim. There are about 8 clips, and a couple of plastic pins to deal with. Working it out takes a little bit, but rotating and tipping, will work it out. Take your time.
