It almost seemed like it was TBR on steroids (which is great I guess, but some kids can have confidence issues) and was way harder than the real thing...The AAMC SB in particular is harder than the actual exam and forces you to use their reasoning. I thank the SBs for my BB score in particular. Imo mcat was harder to prep for and more variable because of stuff like cars. Step 1 if you just do anki and uworld you're fine and all your first 2 years is dedicated to prepping for the exam while with the mcat youre balancing it on top of classes not related to medicine. 8.That the actual test biochem is slightly easier calms me down a bit. I just took two more blocks of biochem back to back, reading all the info answers...got excited after 71% on the first block, only to drop down back to 58%. Weak. It just feels like there are quite a bit of info that is not included in biochem of FA.UWorld passages are difficult, look at the explanations and brush up on content, that's where it's at. Reply. Just use it to find gaps in content, practice ... Uworld is much more content centric, but if you're chillin above 70%, look to definitely get 510+. Uworld tests your content knowledge. If you are getting 70% and above, you are in a good shape. It is not reflective of MCAT questions. My Uworld average was 75-80, got a 519 average on AAMC FLs, got a 518. .
