Was doing the differential fluid change and ran into a problem. I changed the back but had to replace the fill plug because how bad it was seized in there. If it’s still seized, grab a propane torch, heat the area around the bolt for a bout 3 to five min, the spray with penetration oil. The heat allows for expansion and the oil will be drawn in toward the heat allowing it to really penetrate. Wait 10 min, re heat with torch and I guarantee that bolt will come loose with any breaker bar.Step 6: Add the new oil using the oil pump. Front diff calls for 1.2 quarts, but the oil will start to flow out of the fill hole when it is full.
